Karim Benzema wants to provide Kylian Mbappe some guidance in order to assist him adjust to Real Madrid more effectively during an interview for “El Chiringuito de Mega.” The former Real Madrid star believes that his countryman needs to entirely change his role and accept Vinicius’ hierarchy.
It has not been an easy first few months for Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid. After a lengthy summer, he was fatigued at first, had an injury, and has struggled to adjust to Vinicius and Rodrygo’s companionship. Benzema unsuccessfully persuaded his countryman to play at the Santiago Bernabeu for a number of seasons. After signing a two-year contract extension with PSG, he now discovers that he is far from the top of that attacking line’s hierarchy.
Karim Benzema personally discussed this circumstance. The Frenchman, who is based in Jeddah and plays for Al-Ittihad, talked to “El Chiringuito” and left a number of messages and suggestions for his countryman. He believes that in order for Mbappe to fit in at Real Madrid, he must put all of his past mistakes behind him and become more modest.
“He is not a center-forward, which is the issue in my opinion. Mbappe isn’t. He performs poorly every time he plays as a No. 9 for the national team. He doesn’t have that role. However, the issue lies with Vinicius, a man on the left who is similar to him and on the same level. Benzema believes that we should now respect the position that the Brazilian has earned.
Vinicius makes the difference on the left in every game, so I don’t think he can be played as a No. 9 or on the right. We’ll see how Ancelotti uses his extensive knowledge. The answer? Mbappé is not a striker at his best. People ask him a lot of questions, and I can understand that. This is not PSG, and there is a lot of pressure,” he added.
He tells Mbappe to be more open-minded when asked for help, saying, “Kylian, you don’t have to give up. so I don’t believe Vinicius will alter his stance. The child is unmovable and currently the best in the world. Mbappe must forget about the left and realise that he is now a No 9. Allow him to alternate movements with Vinicius. Although he has always excelled when playing on the left, he must now excel in other areas of the field.
Mbappe needs to develop the ability to handle pressure. At Real Madrid, it’s incredibly powerful. Since each game is different, he must exert that pressure on himself in each one. He was only brought in to score goals, so he must do so. Benzema, who has played 648 games and scored 354 goals in 14 seasons, said, “He has the level and everything to do it.”
