Following his spectacular arrival in Florida, Brazilian sensation Neymar has stoked speculation that he would rejoin Lionel Messi at Inter Miami.
The Wall Street Journal claims that Neymar has shelled out an astounding $26 million (£20 million) on a “piece of waterfront land” in Florida. With “approved plans for a 13,000-square-foot house” included in the Brazilian’s purchase, the move will feed rumours that Neymar will be joining former Barcelona and PSG teammate Lionel Messi at Inter Miami. According to a buyer’s representative, the “privacy and security of the gated community” drew their client in and was “exactly” what the buyer was searching for.
Since joining MLS last year, Messi has already surrounded himself with former Barcelona teammates Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets, while Neymar has frequently been mentioned as a potential addition to the team. During their time together at Barcelona, Neymar, Messi, and Suarez formed the renowned “MSN” trio, which led the Catalan powerhouses to numerous domestic and international championships.
After a terrible stint due to a major knee injury, Neymar has just returned to action with Al-Hilal. Since joining the club in August 2023 in a massive deal from PSG, he has only made six appearances.
Since Neymar’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, his future at Al-Hilal is currently in doubt. If Neymar does decide to go, Al-Hilal has been linked to a record-breaking bid for Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr.
